Cornes Rouges (Red Horns)

1. Jul 2021 , Comment Off

On June 19 a church-like building named Cornes Rouges (Red Horns in French) was opened in Voka (Ida-Viru county, Estonia). The man behind this project is Indrek Kõverik, the most famous chef of Ida-Virumaa county, owner of Franzia restaurant in Narva-Jõesuu. Every church demands an altar painting, right? So he commissioned me to create one. Idea came from Da Vinci’s “Last supper” painting. Indrek created a scene in is head, that I, with the help of Adobe Photoshop and Wacom Cintiq digital painting table, brought to life. It took about two months altogether. In addition to the painting, theres a beer called Cornes Rouges, that you can taste in Franzia restaurant. I sincerely recommend to give it a try!
